  • Account Information: When you create an account on our website, we collect your email address and password. These credentials are securely managed by a trusted authentication provider; Provecho does not store your password directly.

  • Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe on our website. Provecho does not store or process payment card information.

  • Usage Information: We collect information about your activity within the Services, including recipes you view and save, and pages you visit.

  • User-Generated Content: Shopping lists, meal plans, and similar content you create within the Services are stored on our servers until you delete them.

  • Analytics Information: We collect information about device usage, interactions, and performance data.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services;
  • Facilitate account creation, authentication, and subscription management;
  • Deliver personalized recommendations and track recipe engagement;
  • Provide aggregated analytics to creators regarding the performance of their content (without disclosing identifiable user data);

  • Service Providers: Including Stripe (payment processing), cloud hosting, and authentication services.

4. User-Generated Content

  • Users may create and store shopping lists, meal plans, and saved recipes within the Services.
  • Users may delete this content at any time.
  • When an account is deleted, account information is removed; however, users must delete shopping lists and meal plans prior to account deletion.

5. Data Retention

  • Account information is retained until you delete your account.
  • Shopping lists, meal plans, and saved recipes remain until you delete them.
  • Aggregated analytics and non-identifiable data may be retained for business purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure hosting, and limited employee access. While we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for individuals aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

8. International Users & Data Transfers

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries. We take appropriate safeguards to protect such data transfers.
