3 pounds chicken wings

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon all purpose seasoning

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

2 tablespoons cornstarch

For the Sauce:

¾ cups unsalted butter

1 Lemon zest, from lemon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning

4 tablespoons honey

Directions

Clean and pat dry chicken wings.

Add wings to a bowl and season with all-purpose seasoning, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and coat wings well. Refrigerate wings for at least 30 minutes before frying. After refrigerating, coat wings with cornstarch.

Add about 3 inches of frying oil to a large pot and heat oil to about 365 F. Cook wings in batches for about 10-12 minutes or until they are crispy and browned. Once done, set on a cooling rack or plate lined with a paper towel.

For the Sauce:

In a medium pan on medium heat, add in butter. Once butter is melted, add in lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon pepper seasoning, and honey. Stir ingredients together well and bring the sauce to a simmer. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes, periodically stirring, until the sauce thickens, then remove from heat.

Toss cooked wings in the sauce and enjoy.
