1 block tofu, pad dry

1 tbsp sesame oil

3 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

2 tbsp agave syrup

Directions

Cut the tofu block into 2 big slabs. Put 2 chopsticks to the side of it so your knife doesn’t go fully through. Cut and score the tofu in a criss cross pattern.

For the Marinade

Mix the ingredients for the marinade. Add the tofu to a bowl and add the marinade. Let it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight (the longer the better!).

Get the tofu steaks into the air fryer and bake for 10 minutes on 190C. Remove and brush with more marinade and bake again for 10 minutes on 190C.

Serve and garnish with chili flakes, more marinade and chives.
