For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

½ cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 egg

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp black pepper

1 –2 tbsp olive oil

For the Pasta & Sauce:

12 oz pasta

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/3–1/2 cup sun dried tomato pesto

h

1 ½ cup heavy cream

f

¾ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

½ tsp Italian seasoning

Salt & pepper, to taste

Optional: red pepper flakes, to taste

Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Directions

For the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

For the Meatballs:

In a bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined. Roll into small meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, 8–10 minutes. Remove and set aside.

For the Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in sun-dried tomato pesto and cook 1 minute.

Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Add parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

Combine everything:

Add meatballs and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat.

Finish & serve:

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and extra parmesan.
