Cut salami to your preferred style

1 green bell pepper, cut into slices

1 red bell pepper, cut into slices

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 oz sofrito

1 sazon packet

1 chicken bouillon cube

½ tsp adobo

½ tsp onion powder

2 tbsp tomato paste

2 cups of water

1 tsp ground oregano

1 tsp lime juice
Directions

Cut the salami, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper.

Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and salami, sear for 3-5 minutes.

Add the bell peppers and saute until translucent.

Reduce the heat to medium. Add the sofrito, tomato paste, sazon, adobo, chicken bouillon, onion powder, oregano, and lime juice. Mix well and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Add the water and stir to combine.

Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 30-35 minutes to finish this delicious, easy-to-make salami guisado.

Serve with mangu and pickled red onions.
