In a bowl, combine plant milk, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, flaxmeal, hot water, and pickle juice. Mix well and set aside.

Cut the firm soy free tofu into desired shapes for the sandwich.

Dip the tofu pieces into the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix panko, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

Remove tofu from the marinade and coat each piece thoroughly with the panko mixture.

Spray with avocado oil and bake at 400F for 25 mins flipping half way through.

Assemble the sandwich by placing fried tofu on a vegan bun, adding pickles and romaine lettuce.
